Zimbabwe’s Covid-19 cases rise to 18

ZIMBABWE Tuesday confirmed yet another case of Covid-19 in a Harare patient whose details were not provided by authorities.
This brings to 18 the number of positive cases recorded in the country since last month.
“Today, the National Microbiology Reference Laboratory tested 53 samples and one was positive for Covid-19. More to follow.
“Therefore, to date Zimbabwe now has eighteen confirmed cases, including three deaths,” said the Health Ministry in its latest update on Covid-19 in the country.
To date, Zimbabwe has 1 confirmed case in Matabeleland North, 5 in Bulawayo, 8 in Harare and 4 in Mashonaland East.
The country has now carried out 665 cumulative tests, with 647 found negative while 18 are positive cases.
