Zim parly catches feelings over Bob WHO debacle?
JUST when President Robert Mugabe’s embarrassing dethronement as World Health Organisation (WHO) goodwill ambassador for NCDs in Africa was still a hot issue in Zimbabwe and abroad, has the country’s parliament also caught feelings over the matter?
A heading on its website seems to be thumbing a nose at the United Nations’ health agent.
Well, perhaps not. It is just an innocent but convenient heading explaining on who is who in the country’s house of assembly.
However, it would not be too strange for any of the arms of the State to be sucked into a matter involving the
country’s leader, who is often accused by opponents of “capturing” State institutions and reducing them to virtual appendages for his Zanu PF party.
