Zim Covid-19 deaths rise to four

ZIMBABWE’s Covid-19 deaths have risen to four following the death Wednesday morning of a patient at Harare’s private West End Clinic.
This was confirmed Wednesday by Health Minister Obadiah Moyo on the sidelines of a WHO donation of PPE and a PCR machine in Harare.
The death is of a Mhondoro woman.
The minister said contact tracing for possible infections around her associates has since begun.
“We are still trying to trace the source of infection for this case, so far we only know that the case came from Mhondoro,” said the Minister.
However, the four deaths experienced since the outbreak of the world pandemic last month relate to Zimbabweans based in the country.
The country has seen a heavier toll form the disease on citizens based abroad.
Zimbabwe is not officially tracing any Covid-19 deaths on citizens based outside the country where infections are in their tens of thousands and more.
