Zim Covid-19 cases jump to 28, Harare now pandemic epicentre

ZIMBABWE’S confirmed Covid-19 cases jumped to 28 Tuesday, up form 25, with Harare overtaking Bulawayo to become the epicentre of the dreaded pandemic.
This is according to the latest Ministry of Health and Child Care update on the Covid-19 situation in the country.
“Today, a total of 841 tests were done as detailed in table 1 below, giving a total of 4159 screening and diagnostics tests done to date.
“Therefore, to date, Zimbabwe now has twenty-eight confirmed cases, including two recoveries and three deaths,” read the report by the ministry.
According to provincial infections, Harare, at 13, has the most infections while Bulawayo is second with 10.
Mashonaland East has four cases while Matabeleland North, which was first to record a confirmed case of Covid-19 in the country, still has that one case.
