Embassy facilitates citizens’ return from Namibia but warns of forced quarantine

By Staff Reporter
THE Zimbabwean embassy in Namibia has offered to facilitate travel back home by locals holed up in the neighbouring country but quickly warned of forced quarantine in Zambia and Zimbabwe as a precautionary measure against the spread of Covid-19.
In a statement Friday, the embassy invited locals to contact its officials for the process to go ahead.

Many Zimbabweans who are currently holed up in other countries are being allowed to return on condition they will undergo compulsory quarantine over 21 days.
Government early this week reported that over 500 returning locals were under quarantine.
