Dembare footballer tests positive for Covid-19

AN unidentified Dynamos footballer has reportedly tested positive for Covid-19 and has been told to observe a period of self-isolation.

This was announced Monday by club Marketing and Communications Manager Yvonne Mangunda.

As part of the conditions for the resumption of domestic football, club officials and players are supposed to go through mandatory testing for the global pandemic.

Several world football administrators and top players have tested positive for Covid-19 and have successfully gone through recovery processes.


Dynamos Player test positive

As part of preparations for the resumption of team training, Dynamos Football Club today conducted COVID-19 tests on first team players, technical team and Secretariat.

Out of the 46 people tested, 1 tested positive of COVID-19. Relevant authorities have been informed and the club will adhere to Government and public health guidelines set for the positive individual. The individual will observe a period of self-isolation in accordance with COVID-19 protocols. We wish him a speedy recovery and look forward to welcoming him back at work soon.

We will provide further updates as necessary via Dynamos official communication channels.

The team will start group training on 10 November 2020.
