A CAR which was in First Lady Auxillia Mnangagwa’s convoy crashed Friday, killing one of her security aides while four others were seriously injured.
President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s wife, who is safe, was on her way to donate some goods in Muzarabani district in Mashonaland Central province.
The First Lady is founder of the philanthropic Angel of Hope Foundation.
According to sources, a Toyota Hilux in which her security aides were travelling, veered off the road at Mavhuradonha Mountain Range, rolled down a steep, rocky embankment before coming to a stop against a tree.
An Air Force of Zimbabwe helicopter came to airlift the injured to Harare.
