588 returning Zimbabweans on forced quarantine – Govt

ATLEAST 588 Zimbabweans have been taken into compulsory quarantine with Bulawayo higher learning institutions playing host to the majority.
According to Information Permanent Secretary Nick Mangwana, the number of returning locals who have been taken to ZIPAM, Darwendale was now 72.

This follows the whisking away of 32 locals who landed Monday at the Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport while returning from different world destinations, among them, countries worst affected by Covid-19.
The country has since confirmed 17 cases of the dreaded disease and three deaths.
