Tougher times as ZERA announces another fuel price hike

The Zimbabwe Energy and Regulatory Authority (ZERA) has announced another round of fuel price increases with a litre of petrol now costing US$1.63 while the same quantity of diesel now goes for US$1.71.

The increases are with immediate effect.

Said ZERA in a statement, “Please be advised that there has been a review of prices for diesel and blend with effect from 25 April 2022.”

ZERA said “prices have been set in accordance with oil price patterns on the international market, which the Authority is continuously monitoring”.
