PSL: Big boys Bosso, Dembare post impressive victories

Zimbabwe football heavyweights, Highlanders and Dynamos continued with their impressive resurgence after posting comfortable victories in two separate Castle Lager Premier Soccer League matches played Sunday.
Highlanders thrashed Prophet Walter Magaya’s Yadah FC 3-0 at Barbourfields Stadium while Dynamos also beat hosts Harare City by 2 goals to nil.
Bosso scored through Lynoth Chikuhwa from a header after 10 minutes and a Nqobizitha Masuku effort from distance after 22 minutes only for substitute Washington Navaya to worsen the visitors’ nightmares with a 78th minute effort.
Following the weekend round of fixtures, the Bulawayo giants occupy position number 10 on the log standings with 12 points to their tally after round 9 of the 2021-22 premiership race.
At the National Sports Stadium in Harare, Dynamos found the net through a headed goal by Frank Makarati off a Godknows Murwira free kick with Brandon Mpofu sealing the three points for the former champions with a debut goal.
Dynamos are now second on the log standings with 19 points from nine games played so far.
They are just three behind log leaders Chicken Inn who have 22 points.
Elsewhere, deposed log leaders Manica Diamonds drew 0-0 with struggling champions FC Platinum while Whawha lost 2-3 Cranborne Bullets.
