Police reverse Chamisa rally ban…set conditions

Police have reversed their ban on Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) leader Nelson Chamisa star rally in Epworth Harare but set conditions for the conveners of the opposition event to follow.

This came after the Zimbabwe Lawyers for Human Rights had filed an exparte application at Harare Magistrates Court appealing against the ban.

Police on Wednesday issued a ban on the rally while claiming they were short staffed to provide security at the event.
