Highlanders finally remembered how to win and did it in style too, posting a thumping 4-0 defeat of visiting Herentals in Matchday 7 of the current Castle Lager Premier Soccer League campaign that saw fellow giants Dynamos also hammer Tenax by 3 goals to 1.

After a couple of uninspiring draws and more losses in their opening weeks of the 2021-22 premiership marathon, Bosso returned a rejuvenated outfit, administering a tough football module for the students.

Highlanders scored through a Nqobizitha Masuku header in the 16th minute.

Stanley Ngala doubled the advantage for the Bulawayo outfit after 64 minutes.

Adrian Silla made it 3 with substitute Lynoth Chikuhwa to complete the rout on the stroke of full time.

At the National Sports Stadium in Harare, Dynamos only needed five minutes into the game for debutant Martin Ofori to send the home side ahead but Tenax levelled terms 27 minutes into the game to send the two sides to half time tied on 1-1.

Dynamos returned from the break to score their second through Emmanuel Paga after 61 minutes only for Ralph Kawondera to hammer the final nail on the visitors’ coffin six minutes later.

The victories by Highlanders and Dynamos completed a triumphant weekend for the premiership big boys following Caps United’s 1-0 victory over Bulawayo City a day before.
