Police and other security agents Wednesday stormed Prophetic, Healing and Deliverance Ministries (PHD) leader Walter Magaya’s Harare home without revealing reasons behind the raid.

In an interview, national police spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed the development but could not shed more light.

“This is in relation to ongoing criminal investigations being conducted by the police and we will release details soon,” he said.

It is not the first-time police have raided the controversial cleric’s home.

The latest raid will come as an embarrassment to the preacher who recently arrived to a Presidential welcome and grand entrance into Nairobi, Kenya.

Magaya was attending a crusade organised by the Christ Pinnacle Embassy Ministries.

He was escorted by police from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport as a large group of people thronged to welcome him.
