Police have violently disrupted CCC leader Nelson Chamisa’s rally in Gokwe with the opposition chief’s followers forced to flee in all directions as they were teargassed.

The rally was a launch event by CCC for by-elections set for March 26.

Police had Friday informed party organisers of the event that the rally should not proceed as it was clashing with Zanu PF and State President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s own launch in Kwekwe.
