LATEST: Mwonzora suspends Khupe from MDC-T

Embattled MDC-T deputy president Thokozani Khupe has been suspended from the Douglas Mwonzora led party in the latest signs of the bitter fall-out between the former allies was deepening.

In a statement Thursday, MDC-T spokesperson Witness Dube said the suspension was with immediate effect.
Dube said the suspension will last the duration of an investigation into “various allegations levelled” against the former deputy prime minister.

Meanwhile, Khupe has called for a Friday press conference in Bulawayo where she is expected to address her troubles with colleagues.
