A Bulawayo woman, who could no longer stand her son’s noisy sex with different prostitutes he hires and takes home almost every day, has taken her promiscuous offspring to court seeking a stop to the loud horizontal engagements.
Loveness Makonye (58) told court she hardly sleeps with her Talent Makonye’s (29) noisy romps.
She described her son as a sex maniac who could hardly let a night pass by without hosting a prostitute in the home.
Makonye says she has tried to reprimand her son for the behaviour, but he often turns violent and insults her.
The son, according to Makonye, often tells her she has no right to reprimand him as the house belongs to his father.
“I am applying for protection order against my son,” she says.
“Whenever he is from drinking alcohol, he would bring a lady and they would start making noise during their sex sessions thereby disturbing my peace.
“When I try to warn him against disturbing my peace, he would shout at me.
“At one point, I knocked at his door, he then opened the door while hurling insults at me. He then assaulted me saying I am disturbing him. I have engaged his uncle to talk to him, but he does not reform.”
Makonye was granted a protection order by presiding magistrate Jeconia Prince Ncube.
Talent was ordered to stop taking prostitutes home and was ordered not to physically and emotionally abuse his mother.
