The Women’s Farming Syndicate is set to hold its annual showcase market this Saturday with over 50 exhibitors expected to advertise their products at the event.
The 7th edition of the trade extravaganza is being held at 145 Enterprise Road, Highlands, Harare from 9am to 5pm.
The market offers a platform for showcasing innovative products, services and creating networking opportunities for upscaling businesses and entering new markets.
Event organiser and Women’s Farming Syndicate National Coordinator Tsitsi Machingauta spoke to Zimstar News about the event, “The 7th edition is taking place after the devastating effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on livelihoods and especially for women led businesses.
“The one-day event will focus on the creation of partnerships that will lead to concrete steps which will enable universal digitalisation of women-led MSME in Zimbabwe.
“So that women led businesses, in the most remote areas are able to trade, making technology truly work for all.”
Entry fee is free of charge while exhibition stands are US$10 for individuals and US$100 for corporates.
