BREAKING: Top pro-democracy campaigner Dewa Mavhinga dies from Covid-19

Fierce pro-democracy campaigner Dewa Mavhinga has died from Covid-19.
Mavhinga, who was Director of Southern Africa in the Africa Department of Human Rights Watch, died in South Africa this Saturday where he has been working from.
SABC newscaster Peter Ndoro described the top activist as a real champion of human rights.
“He was a real champion of human rights. So often a commentator on SABC News highlighting the plight of so many in need,” he said via his Twitter handle Saturday.
