ZIFA has appointed Norman Mapeza as interim Warriors coach following the sacking of under-achieving Croatian gaffer Zdravko Logarusic Sunday.

Mapeza is set to take care of the Warriors on a three-month contract.

The highly rated former Warriors defender and FC Platinum mentor will be deputised by Triangle coach Taurayi Mangwiro and Highlanders gaffer Mandla Mpofu.

Former Warriors goalie Energy Murambadoro bounces back into the national team fold as goalkeepers coach.

The appointment of the new Warriors team follows the disbandment of the Logarusic’s technical team which comprised Dynamos coach Tonderai Ndiraya and Benjani Mwaruwari.
