President Emmerson Mnangagwa Tuesday suffered some embarrassing moments live on ZBC-TV through stammers and retakes in his live address to the nation on new Covid-19 lockdown measures.
Mnangagwa was later mocked by exiled former cabinet minister Jonathan Moyo for alleged “reading difficulties”.
“UNLESS YOU’RE SABOTEURS, never put a President with reading difficulties on live tv; pre-record him & say its live!” Moyo said via his Twitter handle.
Mnangagwa is not the only Zimbabwean President to make an embarrassing boob live on television.
In September 2015, former President Robert Mugabe, then 91, delivered a wrong speech when he was officially opening parliament.
